Jim Bunnell begins his tenure on June 4, 2018 and brings many years of nonprofit management and executive experience. Formerly the Executive Director of the Talking Information Center and the South Shore YMCA in Hanover, Jim is uniquely qualified to oversee the operation of the Club including the new aquatics operation and the upcoming summer camp. “I’ve had my eye on the Marshfield Club for some time now and watched how it has so successfully developed. I feel I can lend my experience and help take the Club to the next level and beyond”, stated Bunnell.
Alexa Schnauck, Finance Manager of the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield, joined the club in August 2012. Alexa received her B.A. from Middlebury College with a major in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education and went on to get her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Boston University. Alexa has used her education in a variety of venues, from Residential Care for both adolescents and adults, Private Banking at Brown Brothers Harriman, substitute teaching, Home-Schooling for a year, and now as the Finance Manager at the Boys and Girls Club. This present position allows Alexa to put to use all her education and experience through working with the finances of the Club while focusing on the needs of our community of children and their families.
Jaimie Noyes is a Marshfield resident and mom of two. She joined the Boys & Girls Club of Marshfield team in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She is very excited to be working closely with the kids and families as they become members here and assisting them as the kids go through all the different programs we have to offer. Her favorite past-time, aside from spending quality time with my family, is sitting in a comfy chair with a good book and a cup of tea.
Joseph Satterthwaite is the Education Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield. From his time in the Navy he learned the importance of community, leadership, and responsibility. He earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston. There he learned how to apply his values in an educational setting. Joe likes to participate in local fundraising events that support the community. When he finds time for himself he likes to spend it outdoors with his wife, daughter and dog. Joe is currently working on his first book of poetry, and creating a Podcast network out of the Boys and Girls Club.
Johanna is a Marshfield native and has worked for the Boys and Girls Club for the past 12 years. Johanna has always been passionate about working with youth and giving back to her community. She started her journey at the “old” club back in 2006 where she started working as a program staff, and transitioned to social recreation and membership coordinator in 2010. In 2009, she graduated from Bridgewater State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. In 2011 she moved to the Boys and Girls Club of Boston, South Boston Clubhouse as Membership Director. Johanna returned to Marshfield in 2015 and is our current Director of Operations. Johanna is looking forward to implementing fun, educational and character building programs to the children Marshfield. Johanna came to the Club not only as that outlet to give back to the community that she grew up in, but to help inspire, motivate and most importantly have fun!
Paula White is a seasoned fundraising and marketing professional having worked in the Non-Profit sector for over 25 years. Paula has helped to establish funding for various institutions including Children’s Hospital, The New England Aquarium, Mt. Auburn Hospital, The Plymouth Philharmonic, and more. She holds a degree from Boston College in Political Science/Municipal Studies and Non-profit management. During the after school program, she enjoys stepping in to teach a photography or art class and can often be heard singing show tunes from her office. When not at the Club, Paula is a busy mother of 4 who enjoys running and skiing.
Alex Wall is a Marshfield resident and has been on staff at the Boys and Girls Club since 2007. Alex has played every role at the Club including program staff specializing in homework and art, Assistant Summer Camp Director, Facilities Director, and now is taking on the role of Teen Program Director. Alex holds many certifications needed at the Club including OCEA certification, food management & safety certification, CPO certification, allergin safety, first aid, and CPR. Alex has always been a lead role model at the club and is excited to explore leadership and community service opportunities as well as establish new magnet programming for our teen population.
