Board President and Chair, Bill Bowers indicated that the search for a new ED was non-traditional. “We took our time to find just the right person and happily we were connected with Jim. He is already well known in philanthropic circles on the South Shore and brings tremendous credibility to our operation. We are very excited at the prospect of bringing someone in with the depth of experience that Jim brings to the table.”
Incoming Board President and Chair Geoff Meader said, “Jim brings a level of experience to our organization that allows our Board to move away from operational management involvement allowing us to be a truly strategic and policy making body. His level of experience and professionalism will help us be better and serve better.”
“I can’t wait to jump in and get started. What the Marshfield community and Club Board of Directors have accomplished so far is truly remarkable,” said Bunnell. “I look forward to hitting the ground running, getting to know the kids and working with the staff so we can offer the very best in after school programming and summer camp options for families. There is so much that has yet to be accomplished for the kids and families of Marshfield and surrounding communities. I am thrilled to be a part of that.”
